We have just returned from one of the most relaxing, well serviced and enjoyable holidays we have ever had. Staying at the Casa Luz do Sol was an absolute pleasure. The villa is extremely well equipped for my needs as a full-time wheelchair user with multiple sclerosis. There is a wheel in shower with a very useful shower chair which can be used both in the shower and placed over the toilet if this is necessary. There is also a full hoist on-site, however, we did not need to use this. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, with enough space and room to accommodate my wheelchair and to comfortably house myself, my husband, my son and his girlfriend (it actually sleeps seven in all). The views are absolutely breathtaking and we were extremely lucky to have very good weather whilst we were there in the first week of April 2018. Caroline, the villa owner, could not have been more helpful organising wooden logs to enable us to make a fire when it became chilly in the evening, and organising the villa heating for us. Having her on-site was very reassuring as we knew we could contact her if there was anything we needed. An absolute bonus was the car which was included in the price of the villa. This enabled us to very easily travel around the Algarve, taking in the beautiful sights and visiting places we have never seen before. The surrounding area is excellent with a range of brilliant restaurants, activities and beautiful places to visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend the villa to any family or group of friends, particularly if there is anybody in your group with a disability. It has taken all of the stress out of travelling to the Algarve and we will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you Caroline.
