Angela’s Country Gourmet kitchen at Luz do Sol – Private Villa Gourmet Catering service

Private catering services are available during your stay at the villa.  BBQs can be prepared for you, then you can cook at your lesure.  Evening candle light dinners, or pool side lunches for you and your family.  You just sit back relax and enjoy your holiday – just contact us to discuss your requirements

All arrival packs to be ordered at the time of booking and pre-paid with a deposit or payment.  Foods are all fresh produce and always prepared freshly on the day of your arrival, by Angela´s country kitchen.

Sample Menus

Free range whole local spring chicken.  Slowly smoked on olive wood, served with fresh seasonal salad leaves & summer fruit slices, home grown new potatoes, creamy local yoghurt & home produced organic honey dressin

Seasonal veg & creamy cheese Lasagne.  Fresh garden vegetables, layered in home made pasts, topped with a creamy cheese sauce.  Served with garden cherry tomatoes & herb salad with balsamic dressing.  Home grown new potatoes.


Seasonal Berries & fruits in champagne jelly. Thick dark creamy home made chocolate mousse. Individual Tart-lets filled with summer fruits and cream.

Arrival Pack “A”

  • Organic Honey & Chilli Glazed Almonds.
  • Traditional potato crisp hand cooked in olive oil & lightly salted.
  • Juicy home grown olives.
  • Plump dates wrapped in local smoked bacon, lightly pan fried.
  • Your choice of a bottle of Portuguese regional wine, Red, White, or Rose.

Arrival Pack “B”

Assorted Canapés approximately 3 of each per person:
  • Mini pastry cup filled with Mackerel fillet.
  • Home made Horseradish, coriander garnish.
  • Blue cheese & pear wrapped in a sautéed courgette slice & drizzled with olive oil.
  • Bufflo Monzzerella & cherry tomato wrapped in local Presunto (smoked cured ham) .
  • Boiled Quail eggs, & home made mayonnaise.
  • Crisp backed baguette slice topped with smoked Salmon.
  • Marscapone & Caviar.
  • Your choice of a bottle of Portuguese wine, Red, White, or Rose.

Sandwich Platter approximately 4 small sandwiches of each per person:
  • Made with traditional fresh home baked bread.
  • Organic butter and home grown garde salad garnish.
  • Soft local Goat’s cheese & home made sweet tomato chutney.
  • Tuna chunks, home made lemon & chive mayonnaise.
  • Presunto (smoked cured ham) home made grain mustard, fresh watercress.
  • Smoked Salmon & slices of garden cucumber.
